Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging the services of Neitz Electrical Contracting LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or services. These terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users of our services.

Services & Scope of Work

Neitz Electrical Contracting LLC provides licensed electrical contracting services in the state of Pennsylvania, including but not limited to residential and commercial electrical work, panel upgrades, EV charger installation, emergency repairs, and lighting installations.

All work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Pennsylvania state and local codes. The scope of any project will be defined in a written estimate or work order agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement.

Estimates & Pricing

Written estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Prices are subject to change after 30 days or if project scope changes. We practice transparent, upfront pricing and will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work.

Additional charges may apply for unforeseen conditions discovered during the project, such as existing code violations, hidden damage, or scope changes requested by the customer. Any additional charges will be discussed and approved in advance.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For larger projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work commences to cover materials costs.

Invoices unpaid after 30 days from the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per year) on the outstanding balance, unless prohibited by law. Customer is responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees, in the event of non-payment.

Permits & Inspections

When required by applicable codes and regulations, Neitz Electrical Contracting LLC will obtain the necessary permits on behalf of the customer. Permit fees are billed separately at cost. Customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the premises for inspections and for any required customer-side preparation.

Workmanship Warranty

We warrant all labor performed to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Modifications made by third parties
  • Damage caused by Acts of God or force majeure events
  • Pre-existing conditions not part of the agreed scope

Manufacturer warranties apply separately to all materials and equipment supplied. We will assist in processing valid manufacturer warranty claims where possible.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area during scheduled hours
  • Ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings and hazards
  • Notify us of any known hazards, such as asbestos, lead paint, or known wiring issues
  • Secure pets and ensure children are kept away from the work area
  • Obtain any required approvals from homeowner associations (HOAs) or landlords

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neitz Electrical Contracting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the performance of services or use of our website, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
